MediaTek is formerly teasing the world’s first 4nm smartphone chipset and while the videotape doesn’t do much further than declare “ first!”, scuttlebutt has it that the chipset developer has lined up several guests. vivo is among them and one of its phones may have just come the first Android device to get past the 1 million points mark in AnTuTu.
The telephone, vivo V2184, is controlled by the MT6983. Tales have named this chip the Dimensity 2000, the telephone is apparently a newX-series model. The score – was accounted for on by both Ice Universe and Digital Chat Station. AnTuTu itself is yet to affirm that the score is licit.
For climate, the current top Android telephone (the Red Magic 6 with a Snapdragon 888) scored. Only Apple’s M1-powered iPad Pros have gone over 1 million.
Again, the videotape only offers vague pledges of superior performance and battery life, but unofficial word claims that MediaTek secured a 4 nm order with TSMC – unlike both Qualcomm also, Samsung, which will both utilize Samsung’s 4 nm foundries.
As indicated by DCS, the Dimensity 2000 will include a Cortex-X2 center at3.0 GHz, three Cortex-A710 centers and four A510. The Exynos 2200 is also allegedly targeting3.0 GHz for its X2 core and a print of a Snapdragon 898-powered phone showed the X2 core at same3.0 GHz. This means that the three chipsets may be unevenly matched in CPU performance, but they will have different GPUs – ARM Mali-G710 MC10 for the Dimensity 2000, an AMD RDNA 2 GPU for the Exynos 2200 and another Adreno for the Snapdragon 898.
By the way, a former standard leak revealed that there’s a Snapdragon 898-powered Vivo as well, the company is really mounding the sundeck in its favor when it comes to coming-gen high-performance chipsets.
PS. Qualcomm will probably promote the Snapdragon 898 on November 30, so MediaTek has a long time to disclose the Dimensity 2000. Unless it means” first to request”, but that does not leave important time moreover.
