The resolution cap is reportedly going up to 4K at 30 fps, while the current S22 Ultra only records 1080p/ 30 fps vids in portrayal mode. On top of that the division among subject and foundation will be better.
It’s not clear if these advancements will be available on the other two Galaxy S23 models. They all have a similar Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for World chipsets, yet the Ultra is the only one with the new ISOCELL HP2 200MP locator. The S22 and S22 will use 50MP detectors rather.
Anyway, The Cat also writes that the thermals of the Galaxy S23 Ultra are “ fairly good ”, which should mean that the new flagship does n’t heat up much while shooting in these further demanding videotape modes. The S23 series will be formally disclosed in a long time on February 1.
