Samsung has still come out with another 2022 edition of a 2020 device – the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite slate has been repaired up and is over on Amazon Italy, acceptingpre-orders. Shipments and deals will begin on May 23.
Comparing the spec wastes of the original and of the 2022 edition, two major effects stick out. First is the Android interpretation you get out of the box – the new slate comes with Android 12 rather of 10. The alternate is the chipset, as a Snapdragon 720G (8nm) replaces the Exynos 9611 (10nm). This means a advanced CPU and GPU performance compared to the original.
The original S6 Lite was streamlined to Android 12 a couple of months agone and is eligible for one further update (and a time of security patches after that). That said, given the fairly old tackle, it’s not clear what kind of update schedule the 2022 edition can anticipate.
The other thing we noticed is the price – the 4/ 64 GB model costs€ 400, which is€ 20 further than the original did two times agone (that could be a variation in indigenous pricing). Also, we’re not seeing a 128 GB interpretation nor an LTE interpretation, though that may be because the slate just launched and stores are still streamlining their online force (the 2022 edition does n’t show up on Samsung Italy yet).
