We’re still about a era out from the iPhone 14 series, but rumors about the ensuing- 411 iPhones have before started doing rounds on the Internet, with the hindmost one claiming Apple will double the maximum magazine on ensuing era’s iPhones.
Apple doubled the maximum magazine on the iPhone 13 this era, with the Pro and Pro Max models coming in 1 TB trim. Furthermore, if the source is exact, we’ll see the iPhone 14 arrangement accompany 2 TB of QLC magazine.
The source does not explicitly mention any models, but if Apple’s really planning to offer 2 TB warehouse, we’ll likely see it on the Pro and Pro Max variants, with the capacity on the rest hoped to increase from 512 GB to 1 TB.
We do not know why Apple decided to further increase the maximum depot on ensuing era’s iPhones, but we guess new camera features are one reason for the bump in the depot capacity. After all, you need at least 256 GB of depot on this era’s Pro and Pro Max models to record ProRes tapes in 4K resolution at 30 FPS. The 128 GB interpretation is limited to 1080p 30 FPS ProRes tapes.
That said, we suggest you take this information with a pinch of sailor since it does not come from Apple. Further, we’re a while out from the iPhone 14 setup’s launch, and plans can always change before the final product arrives.
