For a while now we have been hearing rumors about vivo rejuvenating its NEX family of bleeding-edge high-end bias, and naturally we assumed the coming in line would be called NEX 5 (since BBK organizations have a repugnance for the number 4, and the last NEXes were the NEX 3 and NEX 3S). According to some new enterprise out of China, still, it seems like the device in question will not be called NEX 5, rather going by vivo X Note.
Whether that means it’ll have a erected-in stylus, or at least stylus support, remains to be seen. The alleged model number for this device is V2170A, which has lately been certified for trade by Chinese authorities. Intriguingly enough, the vivo X Note name may be used only in China, as scuttlebutt has it that a variation of this device will be launching as the vivo NEX 10 Pro.
The vivo X Note has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC at the helm, a 7- inch QHD 120 Hz AMOLED screen made by Samsung, a quadrangle hinder camera setup (50 MP Samsung GN1 main 48 MP Sony IMX598 12 MP Sony IMX663 8 MP Omnivision OV08A10 5x blowup), a mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, and a weight of 221g. Its confines are 168 x76.5 x9.2 mm.
